I finally took the leap and signed up for one of the biggest challenges of my life... a Spartan Trifecta Race Weekend!

I will be mentally and physically pushing myself to the limit, both in training and on race day, to help make a difference for a cause that's close to my heart and worthy of this effort.

Great Plains Veterans Services Center does a lot to service the 45 rural counties in Montana, from providing transportation for veterans to medical appointments they might not otherwise have access to, as well as helping veterans get access to resources they might not know existed, offer companionship, and help Montana veterans in any way they can. I was so inspired by their mission that I had given up a life of comfort and security in Kansas to relocate even further from my friends and family to help support their vision and help them get the attention they deserve from future donors. I have seen first hand how they touch the lives of veterans, from helping veterans and their families acquire records and benefits they didn't know they had access to all the way to helping veterans move and assist with rent/groceries, and job placement.
