Story
On the 9th, along with a couple of others, we are running the Spartan Race to raise awareness for my cousin Gio and his battle with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This condition slowly weakens his muscles, making even simple tasks an uphill struggle. Duchenne muscular dystrophy doesn’t just affect the body; it impacts every part of a person’s life and their loved ones’. It’s a journey of constant adaptation, and yet, Gio meets every day with a smile. I’m racing for him, for others like him, and in hopes of one day seeing a cure. Every and any donation brings us closer to a cure and offers support to families like ours. It is much appreciated!!
