Friends,
I'm taking part in one of the biggest challenges there is...(so they say) and have decided to run my first 5k Spartan Race on February 15, 2025!
I will be mentally and physically pushing myself to the limit, both in training and on race day, to help make a difference for a cause that's close to my heart and worthy of all my efforts.
My best friend, confidant, and partner in life lost her Mother to ALS last year and it was a battle not for the faint of heart. In honor of her memory and bravery, I dedicate this race to her life and the light she brought into this world when she walked this Earth. Although my time with her was brief, the love she shared and taught me and many others will never die. She and my partner Kristen had a mother daughter relationship I have only dreamed of and wish to celebrate them both with my dedication to this ALS cause.
Please help me reach my goal of not only running a race for Cynthia and Kristen, but also to raise as much money as I can to assist other families who are deeply affected by this disease and have suffered great loss.
