Story
Friends,
This January, I'm once again diving into an experience I am in no way prepared for... a Spartan Race!
I participated in one of these back in college and have been wanting to do another one since. This time around, I want to use the opportunity to raise funds for a cause very near to my heart.
As part of my participation, I’m raising funds for Doctors Without Borders, to support their lifesaving work in Lebanon.
They are on the grounds providing crucial medical and health services to those impacted by the ongoing war. Their recent news release highlights one effort to provide a helpline to help people cope with war in Lebanon: https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/latest/helpline-help-people-cope-war-lebanon
If you’d like to chip in, every little bit makes a real difference and your support will go straight toward their work on the ground.
In the meantime, I'll be training for the race! I will plan to post updates to this page on how that's going - I'll need to focus on upper body strength training and a whole lot of burpees (iykyk). A huge thank you to everyone who donates and becomes a part of this journey with me.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly to Doctors without Borders and a tax receipt automatically issued to you.

Doctors Without Borders
In over 70 countries around the world, Doctors Without Borders saves lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most - armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and other crises. Our teams are responding to COVID-19 by caring for patients, offering health education, mental health support, and infection control training in health facilities around the world. We are working with local authorities in many of the countries where we have medical projects to help prepare for the impact of COVID-19.
