The one cool thing about this is the charity behind it all, to help make a difference for a cause that's close to my heart and worthy of this effort. The Foundation that I have chosen is the Warrior Dog Foundation. Mike Ritland is a big name in the Special Operations community and has created this foundation to help retired K9 working dogs find their home after their service. If you haven’t heard of it feel free to check it out and his podcast Mike Drop.

Warrior Dog Foundation
We believe Special Operation Force and law enforcement K9s deserve the highest level of care in retirement. Warrior Dog Foundation helps transition them from an operational environment into our state-of-the-art kennel facility. We then ensure the care of each individual K9 with dignity and grace, including both mental and physical rehabilitation for the rest of their lives. We provide a rare sanctuary of last resort and as a result, our retired K9s often live out their lives with us.
