Story
Friends,
I will be heading down to Phoenix in November to compete for a Spartan Trifecta in a Weekend. A Trifecta is done by completing a 21k, 10k, and 5k with 30, 25, and 20 obstacles in the races.
Along with that I've decided I want to raise money for the American Heart Association, supporting people like me with Heart Problems.
I was diagnosed with a heart murmur in 5th grade and found out I have a Bicuspid Aortic Valve with Stenosis. It has been a rollercoaster ride from having false tests resulting in heart catheter procedure being done to completing amazing achievements like completing my first Spartan Race in July!
I will be mentally and physically pushing myself to the limit, both in training and on race day, to help make a difference for a cause that's worthy and close to home.
